Cabanas at Center Parcs
- A comfortable seating area
- TV and entertainment system
- Complimentary soft drinks and snacks
- Personal locker in the cabana
Cabanas are perfect for families or groups who want a home base during their pool day. They offer a quiet space to relax and recharge between swimming sessions.
When I went to Shwerwood Forest Center Parcs with a new born we used a Cabana so we had a base for the family and an area to feed the little one and get them to sleep.
Are thy necessary? Not at all. But they are worthwhile if you want to guarantee a dedicated private space.
Price of Swimming at Center Parcs
- Cabana Rental: We've covered the cabanas above, not neccassry by any means but could be useful for some groups. Prices vary by village and season, typically ranging from £70 to £120 per slot.
- Special Activities: Some villages offer unique experiences like scuba diving lessons or mermaid swimming classes for an extra fee.
Do You Need to Book Center Parcs Swimming?
However, there are a few exceptions:
1. Cabanas: These need to be booked in advance, especially during peak seasons.
During the Covid pandemic and various restrictions that were in place there was for a brief period a need to book a slot for swimming but this is no longer the case.
Top Tips for Swimming at Center Parcs
- Bring Multiple Swimsuits: With so much swimming available, it's nice to have a dry suit to change into.
- Pack Pool Shoes: The floors can get slippery, so pool shoes are a good idea if you're unsteady on your feet. I've previously brought a pair for my 3 year old for safety and comfort.
- Visit During Off-Peak Hours: Early mornings or later in the evenings tend to be less crowded. There's something nice about being in the pool under the lights.
- Bring Your Own Towels: While towels in your lodge should stay there, you'll need to bring your own for general pool use.
- Secure Your Valuables: Lockers are available, so make use of them to keep your belongings safe.
Enjoy your swimming
